Without knowing you in person, my diagnosis is clear anyway: severe GAS (gear aquisition syndrom). As its Black Friday week I recommend to hand your credit card to your family.
…. enjoy your trip …
Yes and no. Normally I keep my cameras and lenses for quite a long time. I’ve used for example the A7RII as my main camera for many many years. Despite that two newer generations were available. If something works for me, I keep it, if not, I sell it and try something new. And if I’m on a long trip to remote locations I always carry backup equipment. If something goes wrong it’s always the cheaper option to have backup cameras and lenses compared to repeating the trip.
And don’t worry, right now I’m in a very remote place in Patagonia. Any Black Friday offers are very far away.
