Last weekend I was shooting together with my friend Philippe in Dresden and at the Bastei. Stefan from the FM-forum joined us. It was a great weekend with many good photo opportunities and some great food at a nice tapas bar.
In Dresden, we were shooting the Zwinger, the Semper opera, the Frauenkirche and the Kunsthofpassage. And I got some nice skyline shots of Dresden from the Elbe-bridges.
On Sunday we got up very early (at 4 am) to be at the famous Bastei in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains before sunrise. Although I really hate getting up that early it had paid off.
You can find my new Bastei images and new images of the city of Dresden at the updated Other Places Gallery.
Philippe has posted a short report of our trip on Pascals Dear Susan Blog.
We will also post our images in the Berlin Photo Meet thread on FM. It will be interesting to compare the quite different approaches of three photographers, who were shooting at the same time at the same place.

Thanks Stefan for posting the link to your Dresden images. I really love your Bastei shots #8 and #9.

Yes it was really worth, getting up this early. And congrats to your blog.
